That is the usual price. But it must be a low quality solar cell. Q4 costs me over 50k coins as the base price. But I can lower the price to about 30k or less if I stack all the buffs.

EDIT: I managed to lower the price to 25k without any points into Better Barter

That was with a pair of enforcer glasses with a cigar equipped. I didn't think about other buffs like punkin cheesecake.

Here is the list of buffs I have used:

Pumpkin Cheesecake 5% (buying)

Enforcer Sunglases (Q6) 20%

Cigar 10%

Sugar Butts 10%
Awesome Sauce 10%

Magnum drawn 5%

The base price of your solar cells without any buff must have been around 43k.

EDIT: I have just visited trader Rekt. He had a Q3 solar cell. Base price 50400 coins. With just the Enforcer sunglasses with a cigar, he's still asking for 34280 coins.

With Better Barter and all the above, you can get to 85% reduction.  A Q6 is under 20k.  Definitely a deal.
