Game Version UNKNOWN

I am hosting a dedicated server, I have used SteamCMD to download the server.

My server logs it as launching Alpha 18.1 B8, but when I find my server on the server list it shows as 'Game Version: UNKNOWN'

and I get timed out if I try and enter.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Can't tell you much until you provide the logs and information that is requested in the Sticky thread that tells you to read it before posting.
