Game stutter stepping when walking.

When walking my character will essentially teleport forward small distances kinda like a stutter stepping type of thing. It makes the game unplayable. I just upgraded my pc so maybe it has something to do with this but im not sure. 

Nevermind ive solved the issue how do I delete a post lol

Rather than delete the post add how you fixed the issue so if others have the same problem they will know how to fix it.

I just noticed that sounded more aggressive than it was meant.

I should have started off with something like, "It would be more helpful if rather than deleting the post......."

Was just trying to say that if you had a problem someone else might have it also and knowing how you fixed it would be useful to them.

Based on OP's description and it being a new machine, I'm taking an educated guess that it was a GPU driver, or some system updates that were missing. Could be an antivirus, too. If you're having that same issue though, open up a new post and post a log file

I can confirm the same issue, the game is unplayable in the current state. After a random time, the game lags. You can walk without stuttering, the trees in the wind is stuttering.

This is not a performance issue. Both CPU and GPU usage is low (RTX 4070 Ti Super). To fix the issue, one has to close the game completely and restart the game. Then it runs fine until it happens again.

Need a log to see what is happening in the game when the issue occurs.

 
I found the source of the problem and the solution:

If you're running with a G-Sync monitor and have G-Sync enabled, disable V-sync inside the video settings for the game.

V-sync will randomly cause this weird lag/stuttering.

Confirmed by another player who had the same problem!
