Game shop

So the one thing I wish this game had was a player subscription. Similar to fallout 76 atom shop. We could buy into a monthly subscription for dukes and add things to our base. Adding to our bases would be great. Beds to sleep on, chairs to sit in. This would be great and also help bring in money for the development. Let’s make this happen!
I hope this doesn't scare off regular players who have already invested in this product. I don't want the game to become pay-to-win.

The game is still in Early Acces. Sorry to say but you are not right between your ears if you think that would be a good idea.
Also concerning Fallout 76: The Fallout First was a broken promise with some childish "Chucky Cheese" excuse to defend it.
In defense of it, they should have never sold that game with that promise sinse everyone could see that the level of maintenance and moderation required to keep the servers going was not for free and in compensation the base game was given away frequently. If only FO76 would have been single player and local hosted I might have actualy paid for it.

7dtd on the other hand does not run on dedicated moderated servers and is not as big as FO76. The minimum to even think about subscribtions is a finished game on dedicated servers, with enough going on to keep playing a few years.

Edit: But ofcourse you are free to make donations to the team if you have money to burn.

Seeing someone want a game to have a subscription service is crazy. Hell to the no.
The power and profit mongers have normalized (or tried to normalize) the idea of "consumers" paying a subscription for absolutely everything and owning absolutely nothing. If you're paying a subscription for a software suite you used to buy and perhaps purchased upgrades for, that's why. If you're paying a subscription or, even, number of subscriptions to watch TV, that's why. If you're paying a subscription to play a video game rather than purchase video games and their DLC, as was the norm not all that long ago, that's why. Even Steam, darling of the PC video gaming world, changed its user agreement to "clarify" that none of the copies of the games we've bought on the platform over the years actually belong to us, but are essentially leased to us.

We are meant to own nothing and the owner class to own everything. GaaS is a carbon copy of SaaS. Software and gaming companies jumped on board with Internet distribution as opposed to physical media for a variety of reasons, including DRM, but I'm sure have stuck with it for the reasons noted above. Everything intangible is distributed over the Internet now. The hell of of it is that we've gone right along with it and, now, have little to no other choice unless massive changes in human affairs occur.

Let's not and say we did! The main reason a game has a subscription, is just pure greed than anything and people like you are suckers to pay it. Not to mention, it would turn off probably more than half of the 18 million people that bought the game and any future prospects wanting to buy the game.
