Linux Game Settings. This does not work, all values that I just looked at were within the accepted values, no console can connect.

This results in the consoles not being able to connect.

Also, I cannot edit my previous post.

Some forums block Post edits due to toxic posters. It is nothing personal i assure you.

This may sound odd. But, have you tried having the consoles change their single player settings to the same values as what you have set on the server? The reason I ask is that your settings are either default or are one of the posted "acceptable values". I've been wondering if consoles are checking single player settings instead of acceptable values and that's why so many people are reporting that anything but default won't work for consoles.

Most consoles have it set to any on all settings. I am thinking the linux version is not updated.

The new forum only lets you edit posts for a very short time. It's something I really don't like about this new forum and hope they will change at some point. As far as I know, we didn't have trouble on the old forum with being able to edit posts indefinitely.

As far as the notes about being "in the modded category", that by itself doesn't mean console can't connect. That just means it's not a default setting. The wording is just poor and is left over from before the new version for console was even available. But there does seem to be some kind of problem with getting console users to be able to connect. The info on the News page here (on the main site before opening the forum) gives you acceptable values and setup information, but I think it may need additional information as people still have trouble with it.

After getting all of my settings lined out, all of my console players are back in and everything looks to be fine.

I went through the settings line by line. I did find that lootrespawndays may have been my hangup. I had this set to 1 day instead of LootRespawnDays, accepted values= {-1, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50}. All of my other settings were setup perfect. I read somewhere in another thread that the devs are going to do a value check to fix this issue. Thanks everyone for their help.

It looks like PHPBB has implemented where you can put a timer on how long you have to edit a post. This looks a lot like PHPBB.

I also found that setting LootRespawnDays to anything other than default (we used to play with it set to 5) caused the "modded" server message for. In this instance it was an Xbox player and they were not allowed to proceed with connection. However, changing the value back to 7 (default) allowed the Xbox player to connect.
