Game ideas / Update ideas

hopefully this reaches the fun pimps (it probably won't) but i've been playing 7 days to die for around 9 years now and i've always loved the idea of the game and it's always been really cool to me!

i would like to share some ideas i have for maybe future updates, etc.

1. for me, i feel as if their isn't enough multiplayer interaction. i never find myself logging onto the game joining other people and meeting new people or fighting other people, i just feel as if that was promoted more i would have way more fun with that.

2. the lore for the game as it is currently, has always been very intriguing and interesting to me and ive always wondered why the lore hasn't been taken any further than it has. i've watched a ton of youtube videos covering all of the lore that has been found throughout the game and i've even found some on my own, but i feel like it could definitely be taken a step further. like a story mode would be so cool, and an actual lore to follow through would be very interesting and very unique!

3. adding new zombies, like boss zombies with health bars in my opinion is a needed update and a needed addition to the game. once you get to a certain point into the game it feels like there's no real point anymore to continue (how a lot of survival games are) but i feel like boss zombies could really fix that and make the game harder, and more enjoyable.

4. please fun pimps dont stop adding new weapons, vehicles, weapon mods, vehicle mods, armor, etc. as more and more updates get added the more and more the game becomes enjoyable especially when it's new weapons, or a new vehicle, or maybe even a new POI. also adding new POI's could be another amazing idea, making the playing field way more fun, and forcing us to explore new buildings we haven't explored yet.

5. better NPC interaction. the only real NPC interaction in the game right now is the traders, quests, and if you want to count buried treasure maps that too. adding more NPCS to interact with could make solo play way more fun than it is. a cool idea that's always been in the back of my mind is like a black market trader that you can only trade with at night (considering you can't go to trade outposts at night.) i think that would be a very cool and interesting idea, or even a trader who walks the roads or drives the roads. another cool NPC idea could be NPC's that you can get that will fight off hordes for you at your base.

that's really all i could think of, but i have been playing the game for awhile now, since the release of the game on console the legacy version. just some ideas i thought id throw out there, yall probably wont see this at all but these ideas have always been in the back of my mind. thank you fun pimps for such an amazing game, and i hope all is well!

TFP developers do read the forum, so they might read this.

I don't have any special inside knowledge but can give you some information that TFP has been posting here or that I infered from that information:

As a personal opinion, the game is best if played with real-life friends in a closed game, for example on a rented server. I feel that many players new to the game do not realize that the open servers out there are not the only option to play multiplayer. TFP could definitely try to promote more, but that isn't their strong suit ;)

If you check out the road map (displayed on their home page in June 24) a story is one of the planned features, maybe only happening on the Navezgane map or even playable in RWG.

I've got the impression that TFP wants to complete the game in a not too distant future as development has been going on for a record breaking duration. The current financing from fresh sales probably can't keep up with development costs forever and this is not a service game (and I don't think they should or will go that route, that would alienate many players). But I think there will be DLCs/expansions or a 7D2D 2 or the same game in a different setting coming out eventually. I don't think the well will dry out.

I disagree. I like playing on an open server. Another issue is that finding a server that is comfortable to play on is not an easy task. The server I have been playing on for the last 4 years I found on VK. So I can advise the author to look for servers on FaceBook, chat with admins and players there and try to play. The search built into the game unfortunately does not provide complete information about the server.

Wait for the bandits to show up. I think normal NPCs will show up then.
