Game failing to launch

I am unable to get the game to launch, either through steam or using any of the 3 executables.

- Did you start a new game and re-create the issue? Launching issue

- Have you validated your files through Steam? Yes

- After validation, did you re-try with a brand new game Yes

temporary resolution

i found that rolling back to the 16.3 beta will eliminate this issue. if your using steam right click the game select properties then under the beta tab select 16.3 it will download the version and install it . problem solved

 
Rolling back to A16.3

Rolling back to 16.3 didn't help. I can get to the title screen through steam though but when I click on any button the game crashes. I also don't get a bug report when launching through Steam.

I was able to play before. I have not play the game in some time so I don't know which build was the last build that worked for me.

 
Not sure what exactly it's causing it but it's something between Unity and your graphics driver / DX9. Have you tried updating your GPU drivers? Do you have MSI Afterburner installed (that's reported as an issue in a similar crash)?

 
perhaps try to completely uninstall 7days from steam, reboot, re install, validation might not be working

MSI bafternurner i have used for years without an issue, strange Alloc said that could cause an issue

Over the bast couple of years, updates to MSI have had huge compatibility issues with the overlay.

 
same problem AMD kavery config.

hi , i have the same problem , the game start with "loading game data " and stop .

someone can help me ?
