Game data storage

I had a blackout while playing the game and it corrupted my files. I've deleted and reinstalled 7 times and it's still corrupted. Where are the game data files saved on my computer so I can start with clean files?

All of this is covered in the Pinned Support FAQ Thread. Both the location of save files, and how to possibly recover a corrupted save. The game launcher also has a tool for cleaning game data.

Thanks..but this 61 year old lady can FIND IT! I might have found it.. I might have managed to delete all saves.. I'll scream if I need further assistance.

My mom is not much older than you. I have her hooked on Ark. She cannot play FPS games as it makes her motion-sick, but I had her in Guild Wars, then WoW, even Neverwinter Nights at one point. Now she plays Ark (we can do third-person there). It's cool to see older people playing these games.

I have played WOW and Lord of the Rings  and one I can't recall the name of that allowed you to build houses from a second CD. I'm not sure I haven't played NWK.. can't remember, but the name is very familiar. I'm just not into the 'trauma' of constant battling enemies and the danger of being killed at any second. I like the crafting and basically I use 7DtD to perfect my cabin building plans lol, which is why I love the cheat mode etc. I play the scavenger game occasionally, loot houses and stores, but mostly I collect items to craft stuff. I'm a medical herbalist, so I was somewhat impressed with the golden rod tea and crafting herbal antibiotics in 7. Big into repurposing stuff, too.

You might like Ark if you like 7 Days. Just skip the official servers and find an unofficial one (I host ten unofficial servers now) that has rules and good players. A vast majority of the lame stuff in Ark happens on official servers. Private ones are far better.
