Game Crashing when trying to join any server

Hello,

A friend and I just bought the game last night to play together, I've already run into a frustrating issue. So, whats happening is whenever I join any server (random or if I were to make one through 'New Game') it loads the screen where its 'Receiving and Loading Config' or something like that, just before 'Initializing World' or whatever. It stays on this screen for a minute or so before the task stops responding and I have to end task. The game's been running fine for my friend.

Like I mentioned, the game crashes at that same point no matter the server I'm joining. I've tried running the game with EAC and without, I've made sure firewall permissions are allowed, restarting my system.

Here are my laptop's specs:

Windows 10

8 GB RAM

GTX 1660Ti 6GB

My apologies, I forgot that I didn't verify the game files, when I did shortly after posting I got this result: '1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired'

Upon reinstalling, reverifying says everythings okay, and the game works!

Yeah, your log shows one of the assets files was corrupted. Good to hear you got it fixed up.
