Fun Pimps, please save this game.

can you explain what you mean by this?

The original developers left the game - Croteam around 2019 (with Devolver Digital as the publisher). Rights were defaulted to Gamepires. Gamepires was then acquired by Jagex. They are actively working on the game and have a scheduled update planned for October.

TFP currently are finishing 7 days to die (including supporting it on consoles), supporting 7 Days: Bloodmoons, and already mentioned a new game has started development using team members not tied to 7 days to die right now. Taking on someone else's game that is currently being developed by another company is not something an independent studio would want to do.

That's without going into the financial analysis of acquiring the rights to SCUM from the current developers, determining the costs to "add more content" along with fixing any bugs in the original code while bringing in profits to TFP.

So it seems there are an awful lot of people posting on this thread that I started asking TFP to save the game called scum. While I appreciate all the interest, some of you seem to know a bit about the TFP's business. I don't really think any of you are qualified to actually speak for TFPs. I think if they wanted to, they could look into the possibilities of acquiring the game. So respectfully, I am asking the people who are in charge. Maybe I'll get a response from them directly, maybe I won't. I don't think I've done anything wrong by asking, though. Thank you all for your input.
