Please for the love of decent animation, sort out the lying down posture when zombies get shot they then appear standing up straight away on impact !

Its not good for the eyes...

I agree. There is no animation between laying down and standing when they get shot. The worst is when a cop is laying down, then in a microsecond he stands and blows up. There needs to be some animation in those instances.

The irony is they already have the stand up animations in the game as they appear naturally when you ragdoll them.

Maybe they could flag impacts from the player to NPC - apply stand up animation if < health limit when still alive or impact causes instant death apply Rag Doll if > health limit. etc etc.
 
I think it's random. I've seen Zeds take a long time to get up after nailing them with a Bow.

Ya as a bow player, then dont get up quick. I mean I can get away pretty easy if they go down with a bow.
