PC From Alpha 21 (b317) to Alpha 21 (b313)

Hey, 7DTD players. I have some problems with this new b317 update, and I want to play the b313 version. I have seen youtubers playing b313 yesterday, and today as well. How do they do it, or how can I access the b313 version?

 
I thought we can't rollback experimental versions; we can only select stable releases or, when it is available, the current version of experimental branch.

You can, but it involves manipulating steam to load a previous build and then stay offline so it doesn’t update

 
Can you tell me how can I do that? And if I do it, will achievements count, and will my played hours go up? What are the pros and cons?

If you don't want steam to update the game make a copy and paste it outside the steam directory.

For example I have C:\7dtd\A21b317 

Then I just copy all the game files into the A21b317 folder

Hooray! 🥳

I am glad to hear it worked out! A few hours after I linked the procedure from Reddit, I realized that I have used a very early variation for a different game (Osiris: New Dawn), but my teeny-tiny mind didn't recognize it at first.

May you curb-stomp the nasty, oozing undead until your heart is filled with joy! Muahahaha! Hahaha! Aha! 😈
