Friends Internet crashed while I was the host lost his vehicle but his drone is gone but still active

On PS5 my friends was playing I was 3 km away he was driving and his Internet disconnected I passed the game had him load back in said his bike was sinking when it happened but he lost his motorcycle we searched the path up to 5 min before it happened couldnt find the motorcycle witch isn't a big deal we made another but he can't place another drone done and it's not on map as searched his path wat is a fix since we can't use the command console

I'm a bit worried about my 3 player world now. Buddy as guest in wife hosted world got drunk and passed out. I left fine but when she quit it froze with him still in it... Hope we have no issues when we play again

I have heard tales of vehicles being teleported to bedrock during crashes. Maybe that’s what happened to your motorcycle and drone. Go to where you were when crash happened and maybe start digging till you can’t dig no more? This is only a maybe can’t say that’s where they definitely are.

 
Multiple times now I have been on or even just next to my vehicle when saving the game before logging out and the vehicle no longer exists when I log back in to the world. Not sure how to get good information on that except screenshots before logout and after logging in to prove it. Both truck and motorcycle have done it twice each. It’s a real downer with a full inventory of good loot, coins and solar cells. 

 
Before I log off I pick up the bike and put it back in my inventory.  Can you do this with all the vehicles or just the bicycle?   On PS5 if it matters

 
8k map my base was around the trader every t6 mission I do I have a error as soon as I go back to base literally every time so I close after the mission and it has a error and closes but it's better than loosing your vehicle Everytime my friends went to trader I waited 20 sec and closes still he lost his vehicle and drone again we've lost vehicles so many times and his drones inventory just deletes things oh yeah when my friend died a t6 mission and I'm at base the game doesn't lag and no errors when he comes back to base but if I go with him extremely bad lG like scrolling though pictures but new game now and I'm not the host wonder how much fun I'll have

 
Am on xbox s , played till 3am this morning, logged out .

And now am here cause i logged into the game and the truck i was standing in front of decided to disappear. It still shows the truck icon. 

So i take it all the gear i had in it is  gone

The only thing I can think of is the truck is above or below you. Have heard stories of vehicles being reset underground. Could try digging where the icon is.

I got it back .

Hope i explain this right lol

I was running around with the truck

I had made a stop right outside of a waste land town

I then went to my base

I got out of the truck and logged out

So i get up, logged into the game

And for some reason the truck reset back to the place i had stopped in the waste land.

It showed the truck icon at my base, but the truck in the waste land.

So got me .
