Windows Friend with family sharing account cant join my game

Hello,
my friend plays the game throw family sharing. When he tries to join my game, steam kicks him out with the message that the game license is not valid.
I can join him with no problems.
I wonder if there are some game limitations or some hidden server settings that i need to turn on.
 
Some suggestions

Make sure everyone has the updated steam version.

Verify the files through steam

You can also clear the steam download cache

Another step would be to delist / remove family sharing and then re-enabling it
