I've been having trouble with logging into these forums. On the Brave browser it can't remember who I am passed the login screen. On Chrome it seems to do better. I assumed it was just me, but @Riamus mentioned similar troubles to me today when we were chatting in Discord.

 
Mine had trouble for a couple days as well, linux / firefox.. looked like I'm logged out of General Discussion, but going into an actual thread would have me logged in. Seems to work fine again now.

EDIT: Still going on intermittently. Before this started, I had the thou-must-verifieth-thine-humanness -tick box show up a few times, similarly intermittently. Could be related.

It has been on and off for me for a few days. Chrome/Edge seems to do better, but have seen it a good bit in Brave and Firefox.

It is only when you are on the main forum list, and nowhere else. Refreshing a couple of times, or going into the bug reports and back can fix it for a short bit.

OMG. I typed that out, and for the first time ever, it happened in the General Discussion section.

 
Yeah, it has happened to me on the main forum list, in a specific forum, and also in thread.  The first time I noticed it (a few days ago), it was in a thread and I noticed the like button was missing.  It seems to be having trouble keeping the login info straight.  Changing where you are on the forum can usually fix it temporarily.  This is with Chrome and happens on computer and phone.

 
It's been really bad and it doesn't seem to happen in any specific situation exclusively, though it does happen more frequently when I click on a thread. I'll be logged in on the main page and then it logs me out when I click on a thread. It has logged me out while posting a reply. And it'll log me out when I go back to the tab and hit refresh.

Yeah has been happening to me for a few days also.

I open a page and it shows me as logged out but if I click a few pages it will eventually show me as logged in...until a few more posts and am out again

It hasn't happened today though so fingers crossed.

 
Yep, been happening to me for a few days, ever since I started getting Cloudflare "verifying you're human" things when I try and access the forums (also intermittent, though the frequency has decreased over time.)

 
Lol, whatever defenses you took down trying to resolve this, please put them back, those dead spells are spammy .... death spells, really? :D

 
No troubles here and now even the notifications are gone once i went to the post it was for. I usually had to click on the notifications again after going to the post, to make it go away.

 
Wow, this bug is really annoying today. Sign-In > Home > News > Sign-In > Home > News > Sign-In > Home > News > Sign-In > Home > News ... Yay, Finally!

If it's the same as mine, just tap refresh every once in a while, it'll auto-login even on a page where it's lost the login. No need to enter any sign-in info. I haven't tried just spamming refresh until it works, but even that might work, but at least hitting F5 with a minute in between seems to do the trick after two tries max.

 
Initialy I did the login but now I just ignore it, refresh does not change anything but it let me select another subforum or thread without problems and I am logged in again without loggin in. Interwebz logic 🙃
It is also not always the same page that asks me to log again in but sofar I never had any trouble with reading or responding.

 
Same, sorta of. I come to the forums and it shows me as logged out (and I have it set to always be logged in), but as soon as I click on a thread it shows me as logged in without me having to do so. So I AM logged in as intended but the first time I load the site it doesn't seem to think so, temporarily.
