Food/Water HUD for Starvation mod

Iv been trying to edit the XML files for Starvation mod so that way I can see at least my food and water meter. But each time I edit and save it, it keeps going back to the original XML. I’m using the 7 DTD MOD launcher.

 
The mod launcher always updates the files when you use it. Just go into the file the launcher makes, and find the exe, and launch from there.
