It is not, but I am working on an update.

You can try it with a 2.x version of SCore and it will function. But there will be a lot of yellow errors, the eating animations won't be new, and the canned food icons will still be the 1.0 versions.

I have most of this ready, I'm just asking for advice now about the Unity assets for the eating (and, for blueberry preserves, drinking) animations.

I truly wish there was a way to do this without SCore.

Out of curiosity, why? I worked on SCore myself, so am trying not to be a tiny bit offended. :)

SCore is used for a lot of different mods or modlets (including big mods like Darkness Falls) so I'm not sure what the issue could be.

If you let me know, I can pass it along to SphereII.

Unless you mean that it should be implemented without additional C# code.. in which case, blame TFP, not SCore.

Fun! Just returned and tried 2.0 yesterday with my friends when, after noting that I get 10 meat from a snake, while a full boar contains three whole snakes worth of meat, we commented that it was very strange that spoilage wasn't a part of the game still!
Mods like this will make the game into what it truly could/should have been (y)

(Offtopic but, do you think it would be possible with SCore to mod back the smell mechanic from the good ol days of the game?)

I meant no offense. SCore is an impressive piece of work. But I don't like large mods that make lots of changes or additions to gameplay. I prefer tightly-focused, self-contained mods that add single features, so that I can mix and match with other mods without fear of overlaps or compatibility issues. So naturally I avoid overhauls like DF, EFT and others.

When I read through the list of SCore features, I mostly see a whole bunch of stuff I'm just not interested in. Your food spoilage mod sounds great, though. Food spoilage is one of those things that any good survival game should have.

Most of the mods I have installed are c#. Xml is fine for some things, but it's very limited.
