PC Fish Tacos and Chili Dogs

It would be great to get more recipes like this that use canned food. They make the cans useful early because you simply might need the food. Then you save cans for late game when you can unlock the advanced recipes that need those cans.

Fish Tacos and Chili Dogs are great. I'd love to see an advanced recipe for each can.

Perhaps some "fresh" like this that you cook in the campfire; perhaps ones that requires the lamb/beef rations, cooks in the Chem Station and makes MRE's. Anything to make it so that the abundance of canned food isn't disappointing by mid/late game.

P.S. Really enjoying A17(.1, etc)

Cheers!

I would go as far as making food you cook have the slight chance for food poisoning, and make the cans completely safe to eat (reverse of how it works right now).

Cans of food becoming junk items early midgame is just not right..

But yeah, I like the idea of special recipies too.

IRL, cans of food are junk food too ^^. Self made food with organic vegetable are the top.
I know, I mean any kind of food becoming junk in a survival situation is not right ;P

And we need more stuff that needs to be scavenged late game and cans of food would be a no brainer to add to the "always good to find" list (even if it's not the most interesting loot..)

I did those, I just need to come up with some other foods to utilize the cans.
you could use the rations(white cans; lamb, beef, chicken) as taco fillers, or mixed with canned soup to get stew, or to make meatloaf. tuna salad/sandwhiches from can tuna or cat food, pasta can could be the base of many italian style dishes(maybe add tomatoes or cans of marinara sauce). you can have makeshift stir fry from any number of canned food combinations. hamburger helper type dishes from a can of meat and a can of pasta.

Well, seeing as this is an American-made, American-based game, I feel like a good ol' fashioned burger and fries plate sounds about right. We have meat and potatoes, recipe could require both grill and cooking pot...maybe even one oil to cook the fries in. ;)

A16 mods used most of the canned food for other recipies.

I used Valmod, and do miss saving/using the canned things later. (and most took 2 cans to make something good)

2 cans of stock = 1 soup. Then you could heat the soup if you wanted.

pea soup, fruit salad, etc.

So yes, looking forward to more uses of the canned stuff. (think of something weird for the catfood though) :p

Fish tacos just sounds like a really bad slang term for a certain part of the female anatomy.

Then I saw "Grampa's Awesome Sauce".

Jeez TFP really?

You coulnd't have run the names of these through the marketing department first?

Those are called "Velvet Tacos." (An eatery in Dallas, TX, USA, incidentally.)

Then I saw "Grampa's Awesome Sauce".
