Well that explains it. You made me question myself for a bit there.

Ive been playing this game since A4......the game has now progressed to a NON survival game with less and less sand box play. The theme seems to be that you can play our sandbox game but you have to play the way we want you too. Less choices, less individualism which means less fun. The biome smoothies have to be one of the dumbest ideas along with badges. Learn by doing was so much more fun....all you had to do was raise the limits to 300 or 1000. Instead we get the book system...read the same book 100 times ?? Isnt that learn by doing?? Bring back the old systems, armor and content that made the game fun. Its too scripted now and not as exciting and fun. Bandits..are they ever coming?? Its been like 5 years!! Plague spitters and Yetis now.....Really?? Are ghosts next?? No offense but the iterations of this game have gone from great to what are you doing.....the earlier versions were exciting and challenging and had a hell of alot more content!! Love all the pois but you need to bring back the BEEs and the honeycombs along with explosive barrels. The fun we had with them!! Bring back rivers and jars!! Just bring back survival!! It was supposed to be a game that had a little of everything...now it just seems like you're bored. Just my opinion...

Hello.
First I wanted to say that this game is still cool even after starting to play the game in October 2014.
What I don't understand is why we have to invest skill points into building our rides? Literally everything else is learned though skill books. Every tool, weapon armor and other items are learned this way. I would love it if we could learn how to build vehicles through skill books as well. As I am not a van with some items in the skill try costing two levels of skill points to buy it.
The other thing that I would like to suggest is that all chain link fences for residence be made a block and a half high. They would look more natural that way.
Also some other fencing was made only a block high and it just seems off.
Thanks.
The new monsters are all derivative. The new colors are obvious, but even the new throwers are essentially reskinned cops, with the bugs being a copy of vultures. Bandits require new AI in the form of actually functioning like a human; that part is the difficult bit. If they have that, they can do all the reskinned copies of "a bandit" they like in a short amount of time; but if they don't have the AI, they can't add a single one. It's very interesting that they could make 2 new "monsters" in the form of plague spitters and yetis, new blue and red zombies, but yet couldn't even work up 2 bandits. It's things like this that really makes the devs look bad and disingenuous.

It's things like this that really makes the devs look bad and disingenuous. It's almost as if they are just adding content just because they can, and not giving thought first. I honestly couldn't care less about the new zombies OR bandits. Just give us the sandbox back. I started sounding the alarm 4 years ago about where it was headed and now we're here. Survival has been leaving the game for YEARS now.
What are you talking about? New skins? What creatures threw rocks and spit bees before this? I'm just saying that they could have worked on bandits instead. The devs say they wanted to work on bandits but "players were asking for other things". Who asked for the monsters? The zombies are basically just new skins, but bandits need a new AI, new behaviour, to make them act like humans. According to TFP they will actually talk to players and take cover.

Skinss is probably a bit exaggerated. There was more to it than that. But they all still have the same AI. Bandits will be different than the zombies. I'm not sure how different I really expect then to be, but they will have their own AI and special actions like taking cover. There is definitely more to it than a new zombie or zombie tier. What are you talking about? New skins? What creatures threw rocks and spit bees before this? What the devs, et alia, were saying in the stream is that reworking 2.0 a bit is going to put them behind on 3.0 and, therefore, bandits yet again. Had Rick stopped at making that clear, there would be no further controversy, e.g. over Rick essentially blaming the new delay on player and/or community "requests." I'd cut him some slack on that myself because casting blame is an international pasttime at the moment and few are able to resist the urge because it's largely an unconsious reaction/phenomenon. I even have to catch myself. The devs say they wanted to work on bandits but "players were asking for other things".
