What's your favorite weapon/tool

Not for power but for other reasons.  Looks, the idea of it.  Just cuz it's your favorite gun. 

My favorites are 

Lever action rifle and ak for looks 

Junk turret and sledge for the idea 

Pipe pistol for style 

And stun baton for function 

Spears are just my favorite and I wish I could combine it in every build

Bow, stealthy and easy ammo crafting on the go.
Spear, I like to poke some eyeballs staring at me through half-broken doors.
Stone hatchet, cheap to craft and maintain multitool.

While at base during horde night:
Electric fence near my service desk to calm down the customers, spear to argue with them and bow to grab their attention when being distracted.

I like the way the Compound Bow looks.

I like the idea of kitting out a really good sniper rifle, but I haven't taken one to the top of a building in the Wasteland in a while.

1. Knives and the bow, since the bleed mechanic scales with the game's difficulty level for both the player and the zombies.

2. I will always be a shotgun wh- .

3. A 6 - hour will always be the best sidearm.

Definitely.  I used to use it a lot, but I stick to melee almost entirely now except for horde nights when I use the sniper rifle.

And a shout out to Izayo's weapon mod that has some amazing guns and even melee weapons.

I don't have a favorite weapon. Whichever stat line I followed, I run with that weapon. Although I haven't used a spear for a long time, since A16 or A17. The only thing I can single out is the steel knuckles, they are good in close combat and replace a knife for cutting.

Love the guns in this mod. I am particularly fond of Izayo's Tommy submachine gun.

The composite crossbow is my favorite weapon. Deadly, quiet and can pack a punch when loaded with exploding crossbow bolts.

I'm trying a Intellect build and the pipe baton kinda slaps

I like the 9mm with a silencer and scope.  I max out the baseball bat, the steel club is better, the bat is more fun.

I kinda wish we had a higher tier bat cuz the bat is fun

Strength tree is filled with fun weapons.  and the damage progression feels right.  I wish each tree's weapons had a similar progression(not the same damage values mind you but similar in increases of damage.)

Spears are also good but I feel you. And the guns are good

Knuckles are basically worthless until you get too iron

Batons have a tier missing and no ranged option aside from turrets

I disagree. I played with different weapons in different playthroughs. The progression of brass knuckles is not much different from the progression of clubs.
