Fatraps Mods - Where did they go?

I was sad to see his recent passing but I also noticed that all of fatraps (FPS) mods have disappeared from all over, the forums, Nexus, 7daystodiemods, ModDB, github etc.

Last I remember he was working on some mods, after Murder Chickens and Tree grubs... I think it was more traps like Satans Spikes and helping others.

I still have a bunch of his mods from over the years but was looking for a repository. Is there still one or did he (or family) take them all down for some reason?
Very odd to see them all disappear.

Was Fatrap the person behind FPS Lights?  I just looked and I can't see it on Nexus any longer.  I use this mod in every playthrough so I am happy I have a copy.  Still sad to hear of anyone's passing.

He was. I can't find any of FPS' stuff, other than my own repositories atm.
He had a bunch of stuff, just found it odd its all gone everywhere and no repository site like on github. I thought there was one either there or a link here on the forums at least.
Nothing in discord either.

A friend and acquaintance just shared this thread. I had no idea about his passing or his history - his work and his service will not be forgotten, and this just  shows how finite life is sadly.

I may have a few of his mods, tho I do not know how they stack up against the most/more recent releases before they were all taken down. If I can help out, please h.m.u. FatRap/ FPS will be greatly missed, and may his legacy live on in our community forever. I've been playing since Alpha 4 and have over 2TB of 7DTD mod files. I did an agentransack scan, which took about 2 days... I saved it but saw the file was over 450Mb, lol. Yeah it was mostly code strings with a few bits of readable data. I'll run another scan and jot down the stuff proper.

Edit: It looked like some of the Killing Floor Common Utility Library had some bits either made in collaboration with Overseer/Closer_Ex or used by them.  I didnt even realize until I saw the search results.

I'm going to go through all my stuff and wee what else I have as well.  Would it be in bad taste to re-upload them somewhere for others?

 
I wouldn't know what the protocol is for this situation. I wouldn't upload anything myself as I don't know who removed it all.

If it was family who did it I would think yes it would be in bad taste to upload it again.

There seems to be a lot of mods and if people still wanted them it would be a shame but respecting their wishes would be the right thing to do.

 
Thats very fair and true - its some of the things that have been kicking around in my head, as to what or how to handle the mods we still have and use of his. But, yea, respecting the wishes and wants of FatRap and his family is utmost.

 
Yeah. It might be something simple as they were closing open accounts for security purposes and probably wouldn't have mind if his mods were still able to be shared. Sort of a legacy thing. But until it would be known for sure I wouldn't do anything with them except for personal use of the ones I still have.
