What? Where? There's no fish to fry, probably because the water isn't drinkable.

Zombie fish! That's what this game needs. Make swimming dangerous.

I don't believe anything past rank 1 in that perk system is worth it though as farming produces a lot of food quite fast especially now that there are naturally occurring farms in random gen, you can have a full veggie patch very fast (assuming you find the soil tiling tool). No need for double harvest etc.

Personally me neither, but modding could easily change that, so it leaves room for it. It would probably be trivial for someone to make alcohol like it used to be, add biofuel recipe back, etc - then corn in bulk would be useful again.

Also I could see maybe, maybe (not likely but maybe) if you had a large MP group, might pay for 1 person to have high skill to easily keep everyone fed. Would probably make more sense to just spam crops, although being able to get a lot of food from a smaller farm means less time farming.

Some things need to exist as options I guess, even if they aren't really practical options.

Speaking of... maybe some recipes when you guys are done with the big stuff.

On my server I have many dishes that are created with the canned goods found in the game.

There's nothing that can't be made into something better.

Now with all these buffs, the sky's the limit with food.

There are recipes in the game now that use the canned food. Even one that uses rotten meat and the sham sandwiches. I know the canned salmon makes something and the canned chili makes chili dogs i think. I dont recall the recipes, but I did see them.

and every login my garden is fully grown because the servers keeps running.

Even if nobody is online and no time passes plants and trees still grow on dedicated servers. It already did in A16 (and maybe before, but I didn't have a dedicated server before). Same with any workstation, they continue working, if you don't turn them off or shut the server down.

So the problem isn't just Multiplayer, but dedicated Server.
