i think there might be a bug with the (normal) forge not accepting brass to be able to make bronze. it is possible that i am overlooking something so any help would be greatly appreciated

looked at the receipe.xml on my dedicated server and even though the receipe.xml say it takes bronze to make the bronze items yet when in game it calls for brass even with the xml coded correctly how does a person get bronze to use in the teir 1 forge

Its not a bug. Beacose bronze is an alloy. And if you wana use it, you need create "Bronze_Blank".

Sorry if this has been answered already but I cant find the addons/eng derectory, is this no longer necessary?

Ow and i get mini freezes every time i scroll in my recipe menu or move something in my inventory, is this do to the fact i did not complete step 3? or is it a game limitation?

 
Addons not working on this version of mod. It needed for translating sirvival notes, but now I cant add or edit description of items.

Freezes of crafting menus is beacose I add many recipies and menu of developers not optimize. For descrease freezes, working in inventory from player status menu.
