PC End game question:

I think "end game" is a thing of the past. Unless you're playing a game with a beginning and a set end, there isn't an end game. This game is always undergoing changes and more content is being added. Even if the devs were to finish A17 and say "That's it, finished product." there still wouldn't be an end game. Survival games, and MMO(RPG's) don't have an end game. There's always something to do, unless you've done it already. If an end game could exist with 7 days, I imagine it would be playing on the hardest mode, max zombies, toughest gathering settings and the harshest penalties for dying (like drop everything on death) and still be good enough to thrive.
I really do agree with you on this.

I disagree.

For example in 7d2d endgame would be, once you are established in a well defended base, with not much less to improve.

Then there should be a content that encourages us to go out and do things. Like specific hordes that attack other random places we need to go out and defend. We would get a warning, have some time to construct, and then we would need to defend it. And get some reward for it afterwards. Otherwise the reward is lost.

Just an example. Something that encourages to do things again, in this case, build more bases. That's maybe the keyword. Once you have done everything, encouraging you to do things again to earn rewards, that's endgame.

TFP have already started the beginnings of a plot and I believe Madmole is the mastermind here. Many people have stumbled across an actual game plot POI and only one streamer I know was asking questions.

Its in the snow biome and its location is... interesting.

For me, it gave answers to how the zombie virus started and possibly the source or cause of the BM.

Good luck! :)
Are you talking about wayne manor?

I would like to see another type of horde. Only instead of one that spawns in and attacks you, this one is 10 times the size, spawns on one end of the map, and slowly wanders to the other end. The goal would be to destroy that horde before it wanders off the map.

That would be an interesting end game right there, where you have to modify the map to affect the pathing and to buy time, attack it in a way to lure it around, or set up fields of death that would cull the numbers.

Some rewards are intangible. There's only so much scripted events can give you.

There are some here who play dead is dead. I could never be bothered or masochistic enough to punish myself over and over again starting from scratch if I die. But they enjoy that experience and it's none of my business if they like it. Because it's a mod, and what they do doesn't affect my game. This is... about game 'modes'.

A few days back, I was wondering, do more people play SP or MP? How about difficulties? Are zombies feral? Every tweak in the conditions can provide a very different experience. Some of you enjoy rifle perks, but you'd also discover how useless of a perk it is on much higher difficulties than default. So your character progression changes accordingly, your choices should be fluid.

This is not a band aid challenge, but I think some of you (in general) who exclusively play SP and find a lack of end game, should give MP a go, the world is a lot 'different' when it's not all NPCs. I think it's better, if you don't, that's fine. This isn't an 'I'm wrong, you're right because MP'. But more of, give it a go! You might see something you like.
