Effective blade trap placements.

I came up with this placement.

The idea was to maximize the time a zombie spend in the trap area.

In order to do so, i force the zombie to walk in a U path around most of the trap.

To further expand the time they spend, one can also use an electric fence wire

through the trap area. The arrow slit also allows for repairs from above.

Red = Path zombies will take through the trap.

Purple and yellow = Can be removed, and additional blade

traps can be placed where the purple block are.

I usually set the trigger plate to 1 minute.

Caution: I've had red console errors popping up when trying to

send too many zombies through the triple trap.

A single trap should be good enough for daily use, but i'd not trust

it for horde nights.

edit: I also placed this trap upside down. (advanced rotation). This

seem to work better when enemies have lost their legs.

The problem is that bladetraps take damage during they hit zombies.

Means you get better results if you prefer a few in a row instead of pathing a zombie a longer time in the same blade

But i guess not bad if you have only 1-2 blades in start-midgame

My goal is to keep the traps as compact as possible, reason beeing trying to make my

bases looks as undefended as possible,

And yes, they do take damage. which is why i make them repairable from the relative

safety of above. I do appriciate your input though. Most welcome they are. And i like your

design, seems good with at least a backup path. :)

Ohh, the repair part i really oversaw.

Thats a nice feature most of my ramps i couldnt realize it (most of my ramps are more optimized for long ways i can shoot the zombies)

We will see how 17.1 will change the game on that topic. Just saw a nice thread someone used water to slow the Z´s down

https://steamcommunity.com/app/251570/discussions/0/1742230617613891476/

I will keep your turn around a blade definatly in memory, maybe i find use for it in whatever A17.1 will let me do

Cool! U-turns make a nice way to maximise a blade trap. Thanks for posting this Kattla :)

Depending on the overall base design using horizontal Plates where there are full blocks might allow shooting the z's as they navigate?

Though dogs might be able to walk through stacked plates now...

Nice looking base there Royal :)
