EAC wrong detections?

Hi, I use for some years now the Fan Control, an open source from github program that lets you customize and control PC Case Fans. Today the game crashed 2 times, I didn't catch the first message but I am positive it was the same, but the second message was "Anti cheat detection Fan Control.exe" I play this game for 3-4 years and I use the Fan Control since it first released in 2020 and never had this problem. Don't know if this is a knows issue, or you need to set something in the anti cheat. If there is a fix I will try it, I just don't want the hassle of needing to close a program that controls my case fans to play a game out of the blue... If it happens again I will also screenshot it to post it for more information.

Hi, EAC is a library managed and programmed by Valve aka steam. I don't know for sure but I don't think TFP has any means to change what and how cheats are detected. My advice would be to first find out if this happens again in 7 days in the coming days and also check if you have another EAC-game in your library and if that game detects Fan Control as well.

And then, if you are sure this is a permanent problem, contact steam about a false positive in EAC (if that is possible at all)

It happened 2 times only, never had a game crash with that error before. And we are in late game now day 100+ it's not that it did it at the start, that's why I found it strange. I will "debug" the problems to see what happens and then post it here, but I did play the game 2 times for an hour or so after the post and it didn't crash with that error. Will see and keep posting what happens.
