Drowning in ammo...

Morloc

Arch Necromancer
I play on 25% loot, and I have so much ammo it's insane. I want to drop it, but it's worth decent cash. I need to make special runs to all the vendors to sell it though.
I've been spending pretty equal parts questing, constructing and mining, so I'm not powergaming the quests. It's one thing for something to change...a bit, but I'm finding...200%?...300%? the ammo I did in previous versions. It's mostly all AP too.

Same thing. This requires fixing!

I would say the same thing happens with all the books in the game (even if you don't aim to find them)

There are a lot of books found in the game...but you also need a lot to max out your proficiencies. Nevertheless, I wouldn't mind seeing those toned down a bit too.
Hopefully those sliders come soon but imo the only places to find ammo is

Zombie Solders/cop loot bags
Gun stores
Ammo piles

Thats it not on some random zombie that drops 30 rounds of 762

I have a similar problem. I get most of my ammunition from Infested Quests. This is probably because I primarily use melee weapons. Today, I completed an Infested Quest in the Two Bit Tower. I didn't fire a single shot, so I didn't use any ammo.

I changed my horde base from a melee base to one that uses firearms. This allows me to use up some of my excess inventory. I sell the rest.

I'm selling brass too! We have a new source now when mining and I just don't make rounds anymore. I used to have to be sure to get going with making gunpowder to keep up with bloodmoons, now I just take a trip downstairs and grab as my 7.62 AP as I feel like. Full disclosure: I don't even carry a firearm except on Hoard Night, so I'm not using ammo like most folks would.

The 2.0 Ammo change to HP and AP ammo, means players have to craft normal Shotgun Ammo and/or 9mm for the bird turrets.

Avoid infestation quests, or do them and only use firearms. Even then with the latter you'll at worst break even. Those infested caches are absolutely filled with ammo.

Along with the insane abundance of ammo, I've noticed that I'm finding a butt load more seeds as well, every container or vehicle I open, there's always seeds of some sort in them. I've already had to put a few stacks in my vending machine.

There are a lot of seeds in the trash. At the beginning of the game, until you have developed farming skills and can’t make seeds yourself, this is very useful.

Yup coz everyone stopped farming after they "Fixed" farming... So now they are "fixing" it again by making seeds more abundant...
Cant understand why they just cant see a bad game direction choice and say sorry we are rolling it back...

In MP coop it´s not so much drowning in ammo, rather limited until we can make enough of our own ammo. Only the ones we don´t use we have plenty.
