PC Drone maintinance

Is there some kind of alert or heads up that tells me my drone is about to break? I feel like I am constantly repairing her in fear of it just falling to the ground without me noticing.

 
When it takes too much damage and stops working it does say shutting down or powering down. However if you have a lot of noise from guns or traps you could miss it.

Unless game glitches and you permently lose it due to game crash you can always repare it if it breaks
