Drone and Gyro Bugged/Glitch

My boyfriend’s server crashed/disconnected which happens very often on Xbox. We’ve experienced the storage box glitch where our loot disappears before too. Last night when his server DCed, we were flying in the helicopter with our 2 drones following us. When we logged back in, both our drones are gone and nowhere to be seen on the map. We retraced our steps and can’t find the drone but when I die to zombies, I can hear my drone talk but still isn’t present after respawning. Our helicopter is also gone too along with all the loot we had in the helicopter storage. Please help. How do we get our drone back? Or if we find another drone, will we be able to use it or will the game still register that we have drones “out”?

 
Okay we have been in the same boat as you guys when you DC.  The first thing you do when you get back in is put a quick marker down this way you can get back to that spot to start your search over if need be. Back track the way you came you should run in to the drone first then the gyrocopter it will be back some ways some times. Hope this helps.

 
We backtracked 2km from pine forest all the way to the wasteland 😭 didn’t find anything and still doesn’t show up on the map either. We’ve been looking for hours 

 
Rip. How do I even scour the entire map to be within 8 blocks of my drone? I hate that it’s glitched and it won’t show up on the map nor the top directional bar

 
I spent 3 hours running around the last known place (the entire wasteland) and I couldn’t find my drone. I made one and I can’t deploy it cause it says max number of drones reached. So the game is registering that I have a drone that’s glitched. It’s so frustrating and I honestly just want to stop playing the game altogether. This isn’t even the first time we’ve dealt with bugs and glitches. We’ve had storage containers FULL of loot we saved up for days just disappear. And it happened 4 times.
