Since the last major update where they added the extra blocks and double doors I was very happy to see the extra designs you could apply to your home and horde bases. There's just a couple more ideas id love to see incorporated and that's powered roll up doors and powered/unpowered gates.

The gate idea I've always wanted to see implemented because I keep wondering what an alternative is to using a powered door for your entrance to your compound. Drawbridge is amazing and I love the concept of utilizing it but it's extremely long and you need a lot of space to put one down. If there was like a 7x3 or 8x3 gate that rolled to the side and opened between the walls of your compound that would be incredible. You could have a basic fence version that rolled on tires (10 forged Iron, 10 mechanical parts, 6 lead pipes and 2 tires) to a full steel modern powered gate (20 forged steel, 10 mechanical, 10 pipes 2 springs and 2 tires) that mimics the Zuckerberg POI design but longer.

Also the roll up doors should also come in a powered version because I love the look of them and it's nice to keep the same size opening when you wanna replace the manual roll up one with a powered version.

Other than that I think these two things could really help with base design.

I'd love to see chainlink fencing that can be upgraded, so I don't have to have the option of a solid opaque wall or a fence with 500hp guarding my base.

That's a great idea, it could have reinforced support at the base of it and some metal horizontal rods going through the links for reinforcement but you can still see through.

What I always do is invert one of the gradual ramp blocks and stack them so it looks like a big horizontal slit opening I can see and shoot/spear through if you wanted an alternative idea.

In case you're on PC, I made a powered rollup door mod a while back. It doesn't give you other kinds of powered doors, but all rollup doors can be powered or unpowered and can all be crafted. You can extend it to other doors easily enough by just duplicating what's there with the correct door names.

I am on PC that's awesome! I will have to get that one cause I love the garage look and industrial style base thanks for the heads up!

Who's stopping you from building a lattice fence? It's quite strong even when made of concrete, and you can even make it out of steel.
