PC Does putting up a lot of custom blocks and containers cause fps drops?

I'm fixing a POI in diersville and I'm noticing that as the place progresses, my fps goes down. I'm not entirely sure what causes this, but the only difference between now and then was quite a few cupboard containers I put. I don't think the GPU would break a sweat rendering a bunch of boxes?

 
Do you have shadows on ? Adding blocks makes calculation of shadows more costly I think, if you have a lot of light sources, that might be the cause.

 
I do have Shadows on, but I'm certain I've seen more stuff in a cell with more lights that don't have this problem

I'll try to change the containers to non containers and see what happens
