PC Do Screamers still exist?

We're currently on day 42, days set to 120 minutes, and we have yet to see a Screamer yet. At our base we constantly have the Forge, Chem Station, Cement Mixer, and Workbench going but they have yet to show up. Not sure what our Game Stage is at but we have glowing ferals and Demolishers showing up so I figure we are high enough. Usually I hate seeing them but now I'm starting to miss them.

 
They exist, we're actually having the opposite reaction at the moment, frustratingly too many screamers, we literally have a non stop conga line of them spawning about every 15 to 20 seconds, really tedious.

 
they exist, I've seen a few. But not getting them all that often considering I have 3 forges, 2 work benches, a chem bench, and 3 cement mixers all going full speed right now o.O I built on the edge of a city taking voer a house, might ahve an effect?

 
I believe they have changed a lot of the heat map workings in the multiple A18 patches. Including torches and such.

Are they behind thick walls by any chance? I'm not sure if that even matters, but I recently got a cement mixer and a forge going, and I'm getting screamers wandering up like clockwork every 10-15 minutes or thereabouts. My workstations are outside, though.

They are inside of a building but they are all beside an open window. We don't have any walls up surrounding the place either. Not sure what is going on.

 
When I look at the f1 menu every so oftne it says Scout Spawning Failed. Not sure if that the intended message or a sign of something not working?

 
They changed heat map settings through the experimental builds. Seeing as you're on day 42 with 120 minute days, there is no mathematical way you could possibly have started this game in B152....you didn't restart your game when the build changed, you really can't complain about things being broken...especially when it's one of the things they changed.

 
Screamer still there but its spawn in level 20-30 above and also in the mid-late game there will be alot more rad zombies/special zombies as well.

yeah they still spawn but I've only seen them spawn when I'm running 4 forges and 1 Chem station. I'm on nomad difficulty, day 55 and 1 hour days. game stage last I checked was around 155.

also I don't have torches and don't use electricity at the crafting base and when running only 2 forges or 1 forge and 1 chem station none spawn at all. when I run 3 they might spawn but if I go full blast they do spawn alot.

I’ve seen this message appear in A16 and A17 before. In A16 it occurred whenever I built on water. In A17 it was because I built inside of a mountain, far below the surface.

They did, heatmap from forges etc drops off MUCH faster than it used to, which in turn lets you run more at once before you can hit 100% heat and it spawns one. For torches, you can have about 4 times as many as before. So they lowered its heatmap strgenth from 4.xx to 1.xx or so, is my guess. Which was good, because torches used to generate 2-3 times as much heatmap as a forge each.

 
I suspect since they made changes to the heatmap stuff in b153, that the people experiencing too many screamers (or maybe like OP none) is the result of old saves.
