PC Do Electrical Defenses Earn Exp?

I don’t keep up with all of the updates or patch notes, but I thought we were supposed to get some exp when our electrical defenses killed zombies. I’ve been running with a new base design using electrical fences and dart traps, and I get 0 exp when they kill zombies.

My land claim block or bedroll is not there though. I only use the base for hordes. Is that the reason I don’t get exp?

You need to perk in the INT tree for electrical trap xp.

Heh, missed that auto-correct. That would be sweet tho! I envision Polo, except with zombie heads!

I want to make sure I'm hearing this correctly, so we now get xp from electrical traps?

If so I'll start throwing points in on it thats for sure.

yes from Turrets , Blade and electrical traps.

but only half

was added in A18

ahh ok cool cool. Thanks for that info. I must have missed the patch notes announcing electrical traps now give xp in whatever Alpha they updated the game with this.

Dart traps give xp too. Got a couple levels last night on Day 63 Horde.

Gotta up the zed count again for day 70. (32 last night)

That is actually a blessing in disguise as I prefer my level (gamestage) scale up slower....at least when playing 60 minute days.
