PC Direction of 7 Days; my two cents.

Dear Fun Pimps; do you even play your own game anymore? (other than in creative mode?)

You force players into the other biomes with loot restriction, smaller cities, and unique zombies but you don't ask yourself why do players avoid the other biomes (no,not all players, Thanks Karen)... Why spend time in the burn-out and wasteland when you leave feeling like you have seasonal depression? Why play in the snow or desert when you have to wear sunglasses to play the game? Your players are HUMAN; humans do not like sitting in gloom all the time (except the British; who lost the war)

Why do I have to hunt for magazines? Why can't I learn by doing? By leveling? Whey do I need to run from mailbox to mailbox to accomplish anything? I assume this was done to add more assets to give to player a feeling of collecting and looting; but it just an awful system; improving by point allocation and leveling a skill, with schematics for the top tear would be a better system (was a better system, short of sitting in a cave crafting 100 stone axes). Maybe the magazines could be like Fallout, a temp boost in a skill? (or just delete them and go to therapy to deal with your shame)

Missed an employment opportunity with Bethesda? The special tree is hot garbage. Rework the entire tree so players can build a character HOW THEY WANT. The general tree is a good start. Weapons, Tools, General, Crafting and Physical perks would be a better way to do it (you know that; it used to be that way)

Biome badges. Good lord. I am laughing as I think about them. You have done a wonderful job with the weather system; how about making the burnt forest a little more cheerful and then throw in a weather event (not a storm) that kicks in the gloom and biome status effect requiring the player to drink a biome related smoothy? Remember having to huddle around a camp fire in the snow because you are freezing? That is what made the other bioms fun. Now we get a magic "immunity" after forced tasks that are not fun (Fun Pimps). Also; did you know that the ambient audio track for the burnt-first biome is just a few tones that repeat within a few seconds driving non attention-deficit people up the wall?

Storms. Amazing. I have set these to 300% and love it. It is similar to the feeling of the old roaming hoards where you have to drop what you are doing and take a second to hide and think about your decisions. The Storms are amazing. (perhaps the option to enable a deadly storm in the forest?)

Looting vs crafting vs barter. This is BROKEN. In our group all crafting magazines are given to me for reading. At present I am at lucky looter 5. I have not looted a single shotgun (including pipe quality) in this run. I can craft a yellow double barrel (with all magazines being fed to me) and my wife with daring adventurer 3 just bought me a blue pump shotgun. BROKEN. If you want good items you are forced into intellect; players should be able to get good items by crafting in a stationary base, by looting in a nomad/roaming play style or by running missions and bartering.

Did you know that with a little plastic and duct tape, an inanimate object can smelt glass jars filled with water? But a master in advanced engineering cannot figure out how to make a liquid container? (lame)

Stop putting out updates that add tedium. Leave the game alone if you are out of ideas. Modders will handle the rest.

I sit at 4,600 hours logged in this game. This game is by far, my favorite game of all time. It could be better. It could be Fun(er). Pimps.
