Graphically it looks better than it ever has in A17, Gameplay wise, it'll take some adjustment, also most of A17 was actually done under the hood, they redid alot of the games systems. I think people are butt hurt because it might actually take a bit of skill to mass murder zombies now, insted of just moving back and fourth and swinging.
Give it a chance at least before you pass final judgement, and remember, stuff like how slow melee feels etc CAN and probally WILL change before the game is final.
To many "gamers" today are nothing but whiney little asshats, they wouldn't know a good game if it slapped them in the face with its big hard rod. I'll admit 7 days to die is far from perfect, but its still gotten more playtime than anything else on my steam libary, which is about 200-300 games+their dlc/expansions. Which kinda says something. Most AAA games bore me, they look pretty but they have no substance to them, they feel like hollow shells for the most part today.
