PC Did the Ingame voicechat work

As topic mention, i wonder is the voicechat in game work or it just broken?

Cause the "mic icon" did went up and yet we cant talk at all and we need rely on other voicechat..

 
In-game chat is real local in-game. If you guys are far apart, you won't hear each other. If you want to hear each other at distances, I'd recommend Discord or something similar.

The point is i cant even heard my friends that is right infront of me in base? Does that refer to real local in game distance problem im having?

Even on/off the mic doesnt produce any voice in game but in other 3rd party VOIP or even steam voice we could heard each other with no problem, just dont know why the 7d2d in game voice not working?
