Wind?
Seriously? That's what people are talking about now?

You've got to be kidding me!

We just got rid of UMA zeds and increased FPS.

Now you want to add something as minor as wind and drop that rate all over again?

While I respect other's opinion, I wholly disagree with this suggestion.

Yeah bring back smell [when you get it working] but wind NO WAY!

That's just too CPU intensive for something we don't need.

Just my opinion folks. You're more than welcome to disagree.
My post was never about wind lmao! It was to reflect the slow pace at which the forum was moving.

Tumbleweeds are not to be laughed at...they come out of nowhere and attack people all the time out here in Nevada...have seen little kids bowled right over by them...pretty funny actually...

I used to be deathly afraid of tumbleweeds as a kid. It all started after watching the moive Critters.

If you want to be afraid of Zombies again, go watch this game on YouTube: "They are Billions". O... M... G! They "borrowed" some ideas from 7D2D, see if you can count them!

Now if TFP can turn some of that back into a first person game (the town defense some have talked about here) it would be very scary! :)

Ewwwww horrid looking game lol. I rather play the very first game ever made on a pc then that game lol and hope TFP don't take anything from it as it would degrade the game severely. IMHO

Yeah, the look of the game is not the strength. You cant get 500 zombies on the screen if they were too hi-res. But the concept is what I'm talking about.

Hmm, which got me thinking, maybe during horde night, have the resolution shifted lower so you can cram more zombies in without too much lag. Cant see them very well anyway. Just a thought.

I've only seen smaller tumbleweeds, they aren't very common where I live either.

Nobody's getting bowled over by tumbleweeds here, so not serious business for me.

Even in germany with our strict Laws11 Million Fireweapons @ 80 million population.

If 99% die everybody could have 10 Guns/Rifles from zivil property, plus the Weapons from the country.
But you would have to travel to the southern part (mostly) of Germany.. and we don't want that :o

Tumbleweeds!

Not even a native American :smile-new:

"In the family Amaranthaceae (s.l., including Chenopodiaceae), several annual species of the genus Kali are the most notorious tumbleweeds. They are thought to be native to Eurasia, but when their seeds entered North America in shipments of agricultural seeds, they became naturalized in large areas. They have been so successful that in the cinema genre of Westerns, they have long been symbols of frontier areas. Salsola tragus (currently not valid synonym[7][8] Kali tragus) is the so-called "Russian thistle". It is an annual plant that breaks off at the stem base when it dies, and forms a tumbleweed, dispersing its seeds as the wind rolls it along.[9] It is said to have arrived in the United States in shipments of flax seeds to South Dakota, perhaps about 1870.[10] It now is a noxious weed throughout North America, dominating disturbed habitats such as roadsides, cultivated fields, eroded slopes, and arid regions with sparse vegetation. Though it is a troublesome weed, Salsola tragus also provides useful livestock forage on arid rangelands.[11]"

Right! Its a damn obstacle course on the roads here in Reno.

So why do Wooden frames/blocks not float? I should be able to throw them in the water along with crates and make a raft! :)

Remember if she floats she is a witch or a wood frame.
