Hi can you add this to your list of things to do? Increase buffer size or make it dynamic in size for future modding. Read my thread as to what I would like to be improved. If the team can fix this it would make the game have the potential to grow to infinite heights through the use of mods!

The cause of the Zombie apocalypse will be: Prions. Currently the cause of the so called "Zombie" Wasting Disease!
A twisted protein that tries to get other proteins in the brain to become twisted like it. Kind of like some charismatic, evil politician with a bad idea. Prions can last for years in the open air

Currently the USA has a serious Prion problem just north of Arizona (interesting, right?).

Whats scary about that, is that you dont know if you have it or not until years or decades later. We could all be infected and never know it. Like if cattle or chicken production was tainted with that or something. 10 years from now we might all drop dead. Luckily for now only 1 out of each million people get infected.

They first discovered Prions in the 50's when a cannibalistic tribe was losing a ton of people from the disease due to eating brain matter from the dead in their tribe.

Idk about zombie apocalypse though, I think it mainly causes you to be just dead, not undead.

Before they die, they could have some zombie-like behavior, hence the unofficial "Zombie" inclusion to the disease name for the current deer outbreak in America.

So the 7D2D scenario: The current Prions in America make the jump to humans. CDC gets billions of dollars and hip-shoots what seams to be the cure and parades the "Cured" patents around the world while inoculating anyone who wants the vaccines.

The vaccine has a 7 day flu-like symptom followed by 6 months incubation time before the real problems show...

Oh yeah, the CDC doctors were kidnaped in New York City, by the terrorist group: "The 12 Monkeys of Sham".

What should the developers do ?

Some people are asking for a quick release of the official 17.2 (not experimental) while others prefer it should be as polished as it can get.

Much people ask for a better RWG - my guess its this one thing keeping TFP busy. So we should wait and we can afford to wait if we want a nice and good experience.

 
Same people that ask for a quick release will be the ones that encumber if the RWG will make again a start from scratch necessary.

I would like version 1.0 today too. But i eat a box of realism to the breakfast

 
Since MM announced that they're working on A18 content, the RWG is holding back the next update for sure. I'm looking forward for a better RWG experience (worse then 17.2 isn't possible), the new book system and bug fixes.

 
You are kinda right, but for GAME, if real zombie came by, it won't be a fun. Plus in real you get 1000s of zombie in city, not couple roaming around building and 50-60 in different room which cannot hear you been in different room. Unless 7DTD figure out to put 100s of zombie in game, everything else related to z is compensation.

Even if Stable comes out your blood moon might be over by then, and if you are not leveling up for whatever bug, you won't get higher gamestae and all your blood moon will be relatively easy.

I wish you guys would license Saxonica's Saxon for redistribution, and get a decent and recent XML/XPath/etc library in there.

 
There's a bit of a trick to it but, with a bit of practice and a lot of physics, humans can indeed smash through concrete.

Lol those blocks are created to break lol. It's all a image of the eye trick. Not real well it is but not. Also they are humans. zs have rotting flesh and bones and they would simply break shred off as the zs tried to break blocks.

 
I have no clue what you are talking about. I am not a fictional zombie, what I can do is irrelevant. Also I have lots of pics of me breaking through wood as a child during martial arts training.
In relation to the game, it would make sense that as they break a block their limbs get ground down to nothing, and they could only get through concrete with a group hitting the same block. But then where would the threat be, meh.

Lol easily those blocks you karate guys use are simply made to look like you guys are tough boys lol. They are thin planks with air under it thus downward force by a human would render the structural integrity beyond its allowable force thus breaking. But a rotting flesh ridden z would have no chance in all relations to destroying blocks with their dead body parts that only function cause of muscle spasms not strong enough to penetrate anything other then flesh or dirt.
