It seems you are much better at finding execuses than fixing stuff.We watched a server that had a lot of players and it sent all their map data and combined it. After a month like 20% of the actual map was uncovered. I'm pretty sure we will support 16k maps again soon enough but my point is people think they need all this space, yet 50 players only uncovered 20% of the actual map after a month of play in a16.
At the rate systems are removed and replaced I wouldn't be surprised if the voxels went from cubic to tetrahedral before release... for a while anywayAh , good to see nothing has changed and people still female dog and complain about every little thing...that may or may not even exist when the game goes gold...
They have got to fix those roads...Can it be that with 17.2 a poi can have only one trader ?![]()

hmm i can spawn 2 on different storys, but ingame the ones next to each other dont show up.

That already happened at around Alpha 7 I believe. Terrain diamonds vs blocks was quite the #gate. It went blocks to diamonds to blocks and finally back to diamonds with maybe one other hedron experimented with in the mix. I agree, 32k would be amazing, I would be happy with the 20k maps like we have had for awhile too though. 16k is allright but kinda meh.I'd be aiming for 32k. You can do 16k with 17.2 and it still feels small, especially with the island layout. 32k gives you the chance to do an island without it feeling too small.
As has been mentioned, many of us will quite happily wait several hours or more to generate a huge map.
Wow. Level 102 by day 22? You reap what you sow....Okay, I am playing 17. I start game, and since I love questing. I start doing quest as soon as I get little settle with my weapon. I found 2 trader nearby, and took 2 quest from them. Finish them in single day and then back home doing some build. I start with one goal to build a Gyrocopter and fly it once, before I restart.
Now, I am day 22, Level 102. Game Stage 175+ (as I die couple of times). Still 18 level away from Gyro. Got All Cemented base, so z won't disturb me. But now I got nothing to do. Reason:
1. Quests are appearing in same building I have been through. Once both trader give quest to same POI, so I don't even have to travel.
2. While doing my last quest, where I die after 10 days game life. I feel too down, because the Zombie is radiated feral, and after I spend 20 bullets in it from short distance doesn't kill it. then I melee him with my level 6 Spike club 5-7 times, include couple of power attach doesn't kill him, but instead he kill me as I run out of space and bleed out. Before him I take few heads out that instant kill zombie. I get 30-40% head shot with 40-50% on body and 10% misses if I have to give number. So, I am not sure I can do quest anymore without dying in short space we got in POI.
3. I got everything build for defence that I need, and lot more resource are baking. So, not in real hurry to collect anything.
4. got enough bullet for 2-3 horde night.
So, I got no idea how I go and get my gyro without risking my life in POI for no real benefits. At level 102 their reward of level 2 Compund bow don't excite me anymore. I just make use of horde night been sooner feature, to reach my level soon. But frankly 102 in 20 days with normal difficulty and game seems settle. Zombie are too tough to melee, they got Wolverine healing for radiated. Can we do something about their healing been too fast for melee or something like that?
Any Idea, what I can try while wait for level up.

The planets are indeed procedurally generated, you can generate custom planets if you like. The standard ones are pre-generated because it takes a bloody long time to generate them and most people's attention span is about as long as... oh look! A butterfly!Only thing with Space Engineers, the planet's aren't random gen. They're static (destructible). And so far they don't spawn NPC buildings.
