I don't see on the known issues about exiting a vehicle and permanently losing all the inventory on your hotbar.
Just this, Simmeon, under Fixed: Bicycle dismounting causes player movement to lock and lose toolbelt items

Should be 17.1 compatible. RWG is getting some massive work done to it, I don't know how long it will take, but our lead artist is working directly with Robert so we'll have the most visually compelling RWG ever in the next version. We can use height maps with it to create mountains, desert bluffs and much more natural looking terrain. On top of that it speeds generation significantly. The frame work for this is done and Robert is working on road/towns so that they will adapt to any height map we give it. Its a top priority so it should make a 17.x patch.
If visually compelling and natural looking means no more floating and collapsing POI's, roads that become cliffs and divide water bodies, and towns consisting of multiple identical POI's then it should be the only priority. RWG is not an option for most people ATM and no-one I know plays Navegane anymore.

@faatal

Could you dummy this section of vehicles.xml down for a guppy?

Code:
			<property name="gear1" value="
							500,2500, -1400,800,0, 700,2200,900,
							Vehicles/Suv/suv_accel1,
							Vehicles/Suv/suv_decel1,
							0, .7, 1, .1, -9, .12, .1, Vehicles/Suv/suv_idle_lp,
							-.4, -.02, .7, .7, -.2, 9, .2, Vehicles/Suv/suv_max_speed_lp
							"/>
I see the explanation at the top but I'm still too dumb to get it.

Hint: i went from a dreaded 17 minutes (on a 1 TB seagate platter drive) down to around 3-6 minutes with 250G NVME m.2 drive just for my game. OS is on a 1 TB SSD.

so speed of validation depends on type of storage device that holds the installed game.

Thank you UnholyJoe! I currently have a 3TB Seagate Harddrive, no where near that amount of stuff on it though.

I asked because it’s now been validating files for an hour at the time of this answer.

I think my next upgrade is definitely a SSD of some kind. I’m actually planning on building a new beast to game on. So SSD will be in consideration.

Have to agree with this not sure why were on version 17 of this game and RWG is still broken. All the minor bugs are taking a toll too on my server people are giving up.

Awesome news. I will continue to slaughter zeds in my current world until the advent of this beautiful update to RWG :)

Is encumbrance not working on a new game intended? (like added to starter elemental buff or something) I didnt notice it on the patch notes, I might have missed it though.

Encumbrance appears to be working as intended in my game.

Are you not seeing the debuff?

what is going on with loot abundance? We have it set to 200% but only get 1 of items were as before we would be getting 2 and upwards on things like brass door knobs ect. And same with ammo loot is tiny even though we are at 200%.

For serverowners:

Added: serverconfig property "UserDataFolder" to specify where all generated data on the server is stored, including generated RWG worlds
Can you expand upon this?

I was also wondering if not having the settings in the config, would that cause the dedi to constantly reboot?

Is it me or are there no RGW changes in a17.2?

I mean, besides the major reduction in POI spawns

i update my server half an hour ago with

Code:
steamcmd +login anonymous +force_install_dir /home/morggin/sdtdservers +app_update 294420 -validate +exit
it update to A17.2 B20 ... is it now the latest Stable branch? the A17.1. B9 thread was locked and last post says it's now A17.2 B20. Client is still A17.1 B9.
