Try it withIf AI fall from a unreachable side path it switches to "Destroy area" in 60% of the cases
Jawoodle did a video testing the changes, and it looks good. When they try to jump to you and fall, not only do they try to break a block as they are falling, they continue trying to break blocks in destroy mode for a couple seconds, then switch back to their path, so while they still fall for the same tricks with ramps and what not, they will slowly beat down your defenses while doing so, thus eventually leading to full destroy mode.

@tfp @testers

Since this build has a lot of support for modding, can we start reports on bugs for things that should work for mods but don't?

/Hoping we are to that point.

Post one in the bug thread and see what response you get. ;)

I mean, plenty of other solo players build and defend bases just fine, even on harder difficulties. You only have one effective row of spikes... that's not going to do it. Just because you think a cpl spikes and a single blade trap on the side should work and it doesn't it doesn't mean the game is whack, you just need to play a little bit smarter heh. But no, you're right, that particular setup wont work at all. I didn't know that exact setup was the only base/trap design one could build in the game.
all i said was that i was building the lowest resource build that could last through a horde at my level..that was it....it lasted on its own.

I just beat day 91 horde (level 120 something) in a 5x5 concrete bunker with some barbed wire and metal spikes around it and one ground level window so I could blast them with my shotgun as they come for the entrance. Normal difficulty, zombie count 12, mind you... and that's above the default settings :D
im not saying that you cannot survive...hordes at the upper level are insane and destroy everything

And yet, somehow, contrary to your perspective, people do it. What a marvel.
why are you always so obnoxious ass?

Why are you such a whiny complainer who globalizes their experience as an attempt to make it seem more legitimate?

I mean: No, you're an obnoxious ass.

Yeah you're not the only one. I just cleared a massive poi on day 1 using only melee and power attacks. Killed 40 zombies. There's a miniscule part of my stamina bar turned black.
Looks like the casuals won this fight. Alas.
We barely tweaked it. BARELY. Its a placebo effect more than anything. You guys are just getting better at the game and most complaints were invalid in the first place due to lack of communicating how the system worked. They like it because we said we adjusted it, you don't like it because we said we adjusted it. The actual adjustment was very small. Its all in everyones head. There was no battle to lose or win. Just time is all that changed. You guys got better and now its too easy, they got better and now its acceptable.

They always do. And do you know what happens next? Not just in this game but multiple games I have been a part of in EA. The games slowly hemorrhage their hardcore audience. The ones that people say will always be around. It doesn't happen right away but its gradual. With each passing patch I can guarantee you a few more hardcore players leave.
Then what tends to happen in EVERY game is the casuals find a new shiny toy to play with. And all those voices, all those criticisms and storming the castle over "it's so hard to do anything" they all start to get quieter. They were only here to see the new shiny stuff anyway.

What you are left with is the hardcore fan base AGAIN, only this time it's a bit smaller, its slightly more agitated and its harder to please.

Trying to please a casual gamer with 8 hours a week to play is a death sentence. Post that on your wall pimps, and remember it a year from now. It will be around the same time that your community is adding BACK in the difficulty you removed so that your hardcore fans can keep enjoying this game.
I disagree. I think with the upcoming options for blood moon frequency, player, zombie and blood moon zombie block damage, xp slider combined with the new run/walk settings we'll be able to attract the minecraft builder casual and the hardcore survival gurus. PVP will be more viable than ever too.

Kind of like when I "adjust" the thermostat at work. "It's cold in here." "I'll go fix it." When I ask later, "It's great now; thanks!"

exactly and yet they never knew the truth. did it as well when i worked at sams club as manager. :)

Any way to see what status effect the mysterious "you feel something coming on" icon applies to?

Me and the girlfriend both have "illness" stuck on in 17.1 for some reason, and I've tried running debuff in console for just about everything with no luck. I want to post it in bugs, but i don't know how to find out which status effect is stuck on since it doesn't say "pneumonia" or "food poisoning". Antibiotics and honey did nothing. Any way to list a player's status effects through the console that i maybe missed in the wiki's?

I am playing on 17 stable. I thought the motorcycle ( new one) was fixed. I am playing vanilla Navezgane, and on single player. I had my motorcycle full of loot, and I died on the construction site while looting. My motorcycle was the next building over. I re-spawned back at my base and took a bicycle back down to where I died. On the map was the motorcycle symbol. Well, I get down to where I died, my bag is there, along with the air drop before I died, but no motorcycle. What the f$_k? I thought this bug was fixed. I am so %#/#&> disappointed right now, because I never seen anyone posting a lost motorcycle in single player vanilla. ÷/&*:$$^** fix these #%^& bugs. Holy $%^*!

Well, you can add one from the CM menu I believe. Not cheating in this case, just a correction is all.

Going back to a fully interactive world. If they insist on empty containers, make those blocks have open and close animations, with the open ones being empty. But still make them containers.
...solving their problems by removing the issue entirely is getting old.
I like immersion as much as the next guy but something like that is a lower priority in my mind. I'd rather have more npc's such as friendlys, bandits, more quest robust questlines. The poi resetting when clicking the giant exclamation mark has huge potential. If prime can enhance that feature ♥♥♥♥ starts getting even more interesting. Imagine starting a quest about bandits who have moved into that iconic POI in town. When you get there its fully transformed/fortified. If they add something like that and make it moddable, imagine the quests/story lines the community could make.

I'd like them to work on more important stuff too, but instead, they worked on making static blocks in an interactive voxel world...
