The game just puts you behind the 8 ball from the start and keeps you there...you get high level zombies before you are ready for them, your base is destroyed by the hordes and you cant gather enough resources to maintain it.or even make items that will last longer...The grind..The player is much more handcuffed in A17 compared to A16. You are gated by level and perks....Trying to survive and being forced to use points, instead of a direction you want to go. You really cant create a builder or cook or healer until late stage because you have to put points in just to run around (STAMINA) or carry more ....you are encumbered by a feather , while carrying 3000 wood.
I did some testing with base design.2 people level 50 and 60..made a solid 5x5 concrete platform with iron bars around perimeter, one 5x5 pedestal same supplies, 5x5 table type, and a 5 x 5 below ground with bars overhead to kill the Zs...
NOTHING worked ...every base was demolished and breached. Im not saying to have inpenetrable bases early on ...but after a few horde nights any building you are held up in is destroyed. Not only that ...there is no way to defend yourself with arrows and a pistol and sniper rifle and survive. You dont have enough ammo, repair kits ...especially with greenies all over the place. Even the yellow loot bags dont last long enough through horde night to collect. They drop every 100 zombies or so and then they disappear before you can get to them.
I enjoy the game being harder, but impossible, isnt fun and i cant see new players coming in game and staying. The game FORCES you to play as a team now. You are overwhelmed with Zs in the Dungeon crawls...why not add in the old style buildings into the mixer. Why is EVERY building a crawl? Why does every building have 30 zombies in it?
Go ahead and tell me i dont like change...and all that crap....The game is whacked ...and after 18 months, i would of expected more and in better shape. You still cant figure out the temperature bull♥♥♥♥...2 steps forward and 5 alphas back. Stable was just to say they got it done before Christmas.
