Thanks for the link Gronk. Not only is Takeshi's Castle a WTF?!? laugh but led me to Best of Wipeout w Jill Wagner :)
The 10 seconds starting from here is awesome! :D

Spent 2 hours today trying various seeds. does anyone have a seed that has water in it? most of my seeds had less than 12 tiny little bodies of water..

Right on, thanks for the response. My server patrons have been asking for it and I'm relatively new to mods. I like to play games as the devs intended. But I do like the idea of not having to hit "B" all the time lmao.
IMHO the ability to change game parameters through XML edits *is* one of the ways to play the game the way the devs intended it. Otherwise, they would have kept all of these parameters built into the executable. Changing the bit that tells the game to mark supply drops on the map or not in the config screen is no different than changing XML to do the same thing. There's just way too many possible changes available in the XML to have them all in the new game config screens too.

It tells you what you want to read into it. =P
The actual reason is that "main progression" unlocks like that are a special case and do not scale like other perks.

Once one member of a team unlocks it, everyone immediately gains all the benefits. That is very different from every other perk in the game because other perks either aid only you personally or you have to be there for it to work.
That's the point exactly. The solution is not to level lock the perk for only one tree in my opinion. Why don't you spread the important stations around. Forge is in STR, Chem station INT, workbench DEX, ect.. If you had one station for different levels of development in each attribute, that would solve the problem and allow for the specialization that we have been discussing. Again, just my 2 cents.

No comment, XD

 Fixed.

Just stopping in to say this build is awesome. I walked away probably a few years back. I stopped in to try a16 and still had issues. With a new computer build, I booted up a17 and the game feels totally different. The combat feels much better for sure. No more microstutter. The landscape looks redone and look at the cities/new pois. Awesome work. Keep it up.

I will say I look forward to the RWG being worked out. having random biome patches with no logic or reason doesn't do any favors. Minor gripe all things considered with all the progress made. Look forward to more progress in the future.

Tis good indeed, isn't it? Merry Christmas survivor

After such a long wait A17 is a VERY welcome change for me, the combat is a lot more slow paced but in a good way imo, I like that you can no longer loot zombies it is a great balance and i find it really pushes me to scavenge more which i love.

The graphics and pois are really beautiful to look at, like i have been taking a lot of screenshots and they have all looked good, this game is really easy to take a nice screen capture of now, i also like how there is decent loot containers at every poi its a nice feeling.

I like the skill system as it is but I understand that that is something that is being discussed and changed i think? I think I would prefer less strict gating but i get why it IS gated so strictly now.

My computer died recently due to a power out (i thinks its my psu but not sure) but I can't wait to get it fixed so I can get back into the game!

Thanks again Pimps.
