So I love the new animals but I often wonder why I can still outrun dogs/wolves/bears. in real life this would not happen.

and I can still out run most if not all Zombies - some of them should be crazy fast or have a burst mode forcing me to have that "Oh F*C$!" moment that I should not have gone into that room or put more points in Ninja.

To add on to Lonestarcanuck; when will zombie chickens and rabbits be added? Death by a thousand cuts. Wandering flocks, tiny hitboxes, best way to kill could be a Molotov at your feet. Come right into your base through 1/4 blocks, Poles, Pillar 50's.

Think of the youtubers. The comedy potential! :D :D

I'm serious btw. Certainly not an even low priority atm, and flocks shouldn't be a common thing, but they fit and would add jump-scares & laughs. :)

Infections are WAY TOO OBNOXIOUS. I went out to visit a trader that was a two minute bike ride away. Half way there I got attacked by a vulture and infected and it hit stage 2 before I could even ride back to my base to cure it, which once again was less than two minutes away. This is terrible pacing and I severely hope this is nothing more than a misplaced decimal point that'll be adjusted. You barely have time notice let alone react and that makes little sense. A simple infection wont kill you in half a day on the faster game settings.

Can I say .. I'm surprised at ALL the BUGGES that are in A17 compared to the others … with all the time that was spent on it during development .. I know a lot of them were seen on Joel's play through's on his YouTube channel and they still made it to the experimental version.

Just a Couple of thoughts from … the Old Gamer .. :02.47-tranquillity:

BUT all Good .. in time they will be fixed … keep up the great work .. Fun Pimps and no worries.

as much as there are a lot of bugs, I am finding A17E to be a much better experience then the A16E. keeping in mind that TFP basically ripped out everything and what looks like starting over with the architecture/framework and a new engine. A17E is pretty good.

I have been part of many large software projects and if you think this is an experimental not even an alpha or a beta you would see that the bugs are expected.

I also bet TFP does not have a huge test or automation test team/harness and so we are that and so find bugs and report with all the details they need and enjoy :)

So, in your mind someone sees a bug and some dev somewhere, who had nothing else to do, just snaps his fingers and the bug is fixed instantly?

SERVER BROWSER:

Is there a way to only see A17 servers? I would like to filter out all the A16.x

Sorry if this isnt the correct forum to ask, but just have a quick question about which cpu to go for. My pc sadly died a few days back and I am itching to get back to playing A17 as I was amazing fun.

So after 4 years out of the loop regarding PC components it seems AMD have made a comeback, but are still not quite as good as Intel in single core performance. Does 7 days to die make use of multiple cores or would the single core performance of the Intel be a better option?

I'll be playing at 1440p if that makes any difference as I believe the gpu can be the limiting factor at higher res, but i'm not so sure if thats the case with a voxel game.

So.. any word on when we might see the next update? Its been more than a week with no indication at all... please keep us in the loop.

Yer it all seems a bit random atm, honey isn't a sure fix and even antibiotics sometimes doesn't instant cure. Not sure what's going on there. Think I'll put some points into Intrinsic Immunity perk next build.

Helloooo

If i begin an adventure in alpha17 B209 and next days will be release an update of alpha 17, i must begin a new save or i can play the old save with update?

I don't think it does but I don't know for sure. I always buy intel but that is just my preference since its an industry standard.
