Bears. Bears are freaking OP.
So I decided I wanted an exp boost, since I'd been lagging behind a bit to keep my gamestage down. Well day 8 seemed to be a good day to do it, I'd just finished my expansion on the house where I was going to put the forge, workstation, and tablesaw once I unlocked them.
Lo, and behold I get a wandering horde just south of my base, so I let them pass and start picking them off, when I see this giant furry creature charge into the middle of my horde and start hogging my exp. I put a few arrows into him, and then noticed that the horde was not attacking him, they just kept walking. So I started looking for a high point then kept firing arrows, as he charged me I realized 2 things.
1: The zombies had not damaged him at all, it was just my arrows hanging off his fuzzy hide.
2: He was much, *much* larger then I'd thought, and I didn't think I was high enough anymore.
Finally with 1 round left in my shotgun he was dead about 3 blocks away from me, I collected my meat, leather, animal fat, and 2 units of bear testosterone and dealt with the Z's that I'd woken up with the shotgun.
I'm not going hunting for exp anymore.....
