We finally hit night 28, and I'm amazed that the mausoleum roof didn't collapse! We just surrounded the whole graveyard with wood spikes and barbed wire fences. We had to drop difficulty down to difficulty 2 because of the combined gamestages... combined we have over a over 450 gamestage with 4 people! (I also had to lower zombies per player down to 4... that gave us zombies all night long, and increased framerates up to about 20, which was at least playable.)
Day 28 we were seeing spitting cops, irradiated soldier,s wights, and spiders, feral runners, vultures, pretty much everything the game can throw at you. And I was the only one with gun ammo.. I took all the coin I obtained from quests and bought as much ammo as I could, and combined with what I'd scavenged it really helped. Combined xp for horde spawning is just WAY too much.
If I log on by myself, nomad difficulty is great and I see a good mix of what feels "right", but if others join we get slammed hard constantly and I have to drop difficulty level to try to compensate... and then I feel overpowered, BUT we don't get as many of the later game harder zombies.
Is there an xml edit I can make to get rid of the multiplayer horde gamestage multiplier, or is that hard coded?
