Anyone know how to solve the multiplayer connection bug? I cant connect to any server in this patch, in previous one i could without problems.
It's a known issue being worked on. No way to really "fix" it on our end. It seems to work for some and not for others. My friends and I are having issues connecting to each other to play, too.Anyone know how to solve the multiplayer connection bug? Yeah, that's one of the issues. We tend to be able to connect (we used to have that issue until I made <NetworkConnectionsDisabled = ""> in the xml file. It used to have SteamNetworking in it), but then in about a min, server kicks everyone now. It's odd.Oh ok. The strangest thing is that im being shown as connected in the sv but it never starts. It gets frozen at the "connecting to..." message and never changes. Also it says something nbs writer-1 or kinda...
I just get the Iron Sledgehammer and call it good, lol. I find them so easily it seems.is it just my eyes or does the wooden club level 2 do more damage then the level 2 iron club?
Probably, EAC. I can't connect to my own server with it enabled as it just times out everytime in A17. Soon as I restart the server with it disabled I'm in instantly. My EAC issue started Jan 2018 and has persisted ever since. I could get in some times but would lag like hell and others times I couldn't join at all. Eventually figured out it was EAC on the server and disabled it. Now I have no issues. It is a small invite-only private server so not worried about cheaters/griefers. Tried re enabling EAC with A17 the same issue persists.Anyone know how to solve the multiplayer connection bug? I cant connect to any server in this patch, in previous one i could without problems.
the EAC could be causing that? I'll need to try that one out, never have had that issue to never checked on it. I do the same, just play with I and a couple friends, and they don't even know how to use the console commands as is (not very tech savvy) so I'd never have to worry about it as is.Probably, EAC. Quick question myself. What happened to the enemy HP bars? I was looking forward to them but they aren't there. I don't remember hearing about them being dropped. They a perk now, hopefully?
Yeah, I can understand that. however, they are only 2 cloth. If you want, the xmls can be edited to make say a bandage heal 100 max health, but make it take 20 cloth to craft one. It'd even out, means only need to pop one, and still the same as making 10 bandages.Got several hours in and I am really enjoying the game and the devs vision with all the changes. Early on I was critical of the health/stamina system but it has grown on me and can appreciate it more. I would like the devs to consider increasing the max health regen from bandages. It is currently too incremental and you must pop one after the other at times. This doesn’t feel natural.
Right. I've noticed an increase of cotton lying around. Doesn't take me long to farm up 80 cloth for bandages if I can't find a tent to scrap up.Yeah, I can understand that. however, they are only 2 cloth. You smelt stone in the forge. Make cement in the forge. Mix cement with stone and sand in the cement mixer to make concrete mix.Well.... I notice you need Stone to make Cement, but need Cement to make Stone... And you need those to make Cement. I haven't been able to figure that one out yet, lol. Then my game bugged to where I now need to make a new map. It's lovely, heh.
I may do that. Make it give 250 max health, but take 50 cloth fragments to make it. Seems reasonable if it will bring you to max health even when maxed fortitude. Or I will go to recipes, copy and paste the bandage recipe, change the amounts for different max health and give them different names or something. Could there be a way to change recipes based on level? So like increase the amount needed and max hp given based on that Physician perk? Or just increase the max hp given per Physician perk (basically learning to apply bandages better)Right. I've noticed an increase of cotton lying around. Hm, weird, wouldn't let me in the forge, so was thinking it wasn't supposed to be that way. Lol, maybe a bug I ran into for me oddly enough. I'll check with my new map I make next time I play and check that out. Be nice if it was just a weird bug for that save. You smelt stone in the forge. Make cement in the forge. I seem to suck with sledge hammers, I can get the zombie down in 2-4 hits with it but I take a lot of zombie damage as well.I just get the Iron Sledgehammer and call it good, lol. I find them so easily it seems.
It's all about the timing. Also helps that it's range is closer to 2.5m I'd say and zombies are only 1.65m. I usually right click, wait till it's about to actually swing, step in, aim for head, make them go flying and step back. Once you learn those ranges, melee is actually very simple as Roland has said before. It's just all about learning the ranges, timing, and not getting surrounded. I've actually done melee more in A17E than I had this whole last year of playing A16.4. It's a lot simpler to me and just feels better, personally.I seem to suck with sledge hammers, I can get the zombie down in 2-4 hits with it but I take a lot of zombie damage as well.
Try a fire axe. I prefer it to the sledge.I seem to suck with sledge hammers, I can get the zombie down in 2-4 hits with it but I take a lot of zombie damage as well.
so far as I can see, most of the mods are just missing at the progression.xml file atmI tried crafting a tier 1 Helmet light schematic after buying the first rank of 'Yeah Science' perk, but I still cant do it in the workbench?
Is there something i'm missing or is the tooltip wrong?
