What's your pc specs
It has a keyboard, and a screen. The left CTRL-key doesn't work anymore..

Ahum, sorry.. I'm at work currently, but I'm having a 8 Gb RAM i7 from the top of my head, with an NVIDEA 740 something something if I remember correctly.

 
GTFO of the desert until you are equipped for it. (duster, drinks that cool, shorts, tank top, armor insulation, etc) I think we've already explained how to fix stamina.
If the desert is not viable at early game stage then why the hell do you insist on spawning new players there?

They are in the good loot but are supposed to be kind of rare. I'm level 45 and have found around 5 mods.
Considering how much you hyped the weapon and armour mod system, kinda a shame that players have to wait to get to such a high level before they get to appreciate and enjoy it...

 
Zombie bears seem to be buggy. They kept running backward and doing this rubber-banding dance. Also, they kept glitching up the metal shelves in stores. Fortunately, I had just found a rifle.

I had one spawn when I was at a gun store and few minutes after killing it another one spawned. A little overkill for a level 14 character???

POIs seem to be overpopulated by zombies. And the owesome loot they're guarding (as MM said) is not there. I mean, I found the boxes but nothig worth the zombie ifested, landmine trapped regular house. Maybe I'm low level and no looting perks but then there shouldn't be so many sombies also. I was like level 5 when I explored this POI. There was like more than 20 zombies in there.

 
Ran into my first wandering horde (wife beater shirts and biker zeds) on Day 4-5. Was going to leave them alone and then remembered I had a couple of molotovs from wrenching a few cars. Man those things are awesome for clearing large groups. Was very satisfying to defeat them especially after gaining a level afterwards.

Fun times! :)

 
Will the random world generation for the official alpha 17 be the same as this current experimental version? If so can anyone tell me any decent map seeds? I can't seem to come up with anything good, seems like a current problem is towns not lining up with the roads properly I'm getting some really wonky maps. I'd really like to see a nice city with some skyscrapers like that pharmaceutical building ya know?

 
Yeah random gen definitely needs some love.

+ The cities look and feel much nicer in A17.

+ The terrain feels more smooth and natural

- I haven't seen mountains yet.. Where did they go?

- I didn't like the massive amount of water in A16, but now, with only the little ponds.. I prefer a mid-way between these opposites

- I'm not sure I like the snow=north, desert=south approach.

 
just realized that as I'm looking at the xml files now
Interesting that although there are no mods for mining, there are two for shovels, but there's a problem as the shovel items are missing the "shovel" tag. Basically there are mods for shovels but no items are identified as such, I just made a quick fix here and hope they fix that for the next patch.
TFP don't want you to make underground complexes with subways spanning the map. I cant even find a iron pickaxe in B199

But I made a near invincible underground fort anyway using a stone axe! Well, we'll see. :)

It would feel right on a much bigger map or a multi map game. Map to the north is all snow with better loot and tougher enemies. Map to the south, desert and same deal.

I had made that suggestion, but it was for multiple maps.

Does Navazgane have all the big buildings?

Putting points into strength and the mining perks helps. Level 20 is a big deal so I would save up 5-6 points to spend before you get to 20.

Edit: If your talking about breaking into tough buildings hit the door a few times and see if you hear something, zombies help me break into buildings. If you DONT hear anything tap your axe around the POI if still nothing, its a death trap quest POI most likely.

I would like to start a dedi Alpha17 experimental server. Can someone offer a good provider in EU? Now I'm on gamerzfactory.de but they didn't answer me and my server not responding since a few days.

.... I'm level 300, with a level 6 Pickaxe loaded with Mods.. it takes me 10 swings to break one rock.. ;f

Are you power swinging? What type of pickaxe? What are your perks? I think the dev's would need more details lol

 
Bug Description: Sweaty hand

Reproduce steps:

1) launch the game

2) play an hour

Actual result: after an hour of play, I have to quit in order to wipe my right hand and my mouse.

Expected result: dry hands, like it was in A16.

Do something, TFP : It's almost unplayable !

 
My wife and I are playing as a group. Now that in alpha 17 thisd new feature came in to invite other players into group, we do that also ofc...

But now everytime we log out and back in, we have to re-invite eachother again. Is it possible to make it so, that the group stays even after you disconect

Can you make the "Day and night Lenght" + "24 hour cycle" more customizable as we find the days are to short and nights to long....
