If you look in Steam, under settings for 7 days, Betas, you can select the version to install, way back through I think A8? They aren't going away yet.Has it been stated if the older versions are going to remain available after the game goes retail/live/official release? Even though I continue to play the most recent version released, I like the idea that at any time I can go back.
and then Roland has to come on right as I'm posting to poke me with a stickHow is everyone doing today? Ready for some A17? Shouldn’t be too long now. Okay bye.
Yeah, I am asking if after official release of the game will they still be available. If you look in Steam, under settings for 7 days, Betas, you can select the version to install, way back through I think A8? They aren't going away yet.
By this do you recommend uninstalling the game and re installing? or is there a better way?I am sure they are instructed to do a clean install. Hope anyone knows it is a must![]()
Lol, my wife isn't much of what you'd call an avid gamer. She just plays narration games or the like, nothing too complex. They make her really mad. Funny thing is, she plays games more than I do now, and I used to play 60 hours a week, now if I'm lucky, I get up to 5 a week and she does about 10 or so a week. Even more funny, she swore up and down she would NEVER marry a gamer...... wellllll, jokes on her. And now she tries to force me to play games more often since I used to all the time, hahahaPlease, my wife is the one telling me to get it installed, stat.
What they recommend is whats called full wipe, it means uninstall, delete your savedata if it doesn`t with uninstalation too, so no data is left from previous version that can cause conflicts with the new one.By this do you recommend uninstalling the game and re installing? or is there a better way?
It's not out yet. Give it a few more hours. And it won't be an auto update. You will have to right click on "7 Days to Die" in steam library, go to properties, then click "beta" tab, change to A17E or whatever it is called. It will then download the new build and install. We have Monday, November 19, I would like to play in 7dtd.But I can not, how to download these experimental versions ????
Once it is released, right click on the game listing in Steam, go to Properties, go to Betas, and choose opt-in for alpha 17We have Monday, November 19, I would like to play in 7dtd.But I can not, how to download these experimental versions ????
I use the Game Lancher to clear all game data then steam to uninstall. Then I manually delete 7 days folders in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and ...\AppData\Roaming. From there I use CCleaner to clear the registry. Kinda overkill I know but hey at least I am sure it is all gone. Then just use steam to install new copy of 7 days.By this do you recommend uninstalling the game and re installing? or is there a better way?
In your steam library, right click on 7DtD and select properties. Then go to the Beta tab. Once it is available it will be listed in the top drop down as Alpha 17 Experimental. We have Monday, November 19, I would like to play in 7dtd.But I can not, how to download these experimental versions ????
