We actually added a function to save your base or selected area as a POI. I'm not sure how to use it and stuff yet, but if someone made a cool POI in a real game, you could save it as a POI and share with others, restore your base because of an update breaking stuff, etc.

You mean the function that has been around for over a year thanks to Coppi's Mod? You guys add a ton of things into the game from modders, which is awesome since we all want to see those things in the game officially anyways. :D Just wondering, do you ever give them credit? I am not on the forums enough to notice either way.

I can agree. People need to realize everyone has different morals. I try not to cuss due to my beliefs. When we first started playing A14/15, I cringed at the zombie strippers, since my son, who was maybe 14 at the time, might see that while playing.

So.. you are OK with your children playing a game that depicts mass amount of killing and bloodshed, but the odd "f" bomb isn't OK? Or a partially nude zombie? I would never let my child play a game like this until they were at least 16. It's a game made by adults for adults. It's not a kids game.

It's not like Coppi invented saving a POI from a game. Unless they used his actual code they didn't copy anything from him. It's like when NBC tried to keep David Letterman from using the Ton 10 List as a skit when he moved to CBS. They claimed they owned it because he used it on their network and he was like, "that's funny, I stole it from..." and named some comedian that used it as a bit for years before he did it.

Everything goes as planned. Joel and PokketNinja will stream in Twitch around 8-9 CT. In Europe is around 4-5 AM this evening.

 
So, I am trying to decipher what is happening... are we getting a experimental release soon? Or just release notes...? I am confused.

Streamers get it today, we get it monday. Experimental one. Stable is yet to come next weeks.

I think they had discussed adding this as a feature well over a year ago.

Release Notes today(hopefully) and A17E Monday unless something awful shows up with the streamers this weekend.

The feature was locked away in the dll's for many alphas, and coppi's wasn't the first mod to add it, so who would you credit?
